The Misadventures of Marta

so today I went to the greatest place on earth O: aka New York City.
There.
Were.
So.
Many.
Abnormally.
Beautiful.
People.
TWSMABP. New acronym? Psssshhhhyeah.

Well, as I was walking from Grand Central Station, in which we arrived from a one hour train ride (I love trains. A lot.), it was FREEZING. so we moved to the main street where all the people were, and I just happened to notice that those who weren't homeless were


gorgeous.

I don't know how the entire population of stunning people gathered in one place, but it freaked me out. A number of questions thus generated in my head...

-If I move to the city, and don't become homeless, will I just spontaneously become gorgeous?
-Why is everyone so pretty......
-God dang it's cold, I need a better jacket...
-Why is everyone so pretty......
-Was that just Kevin Bacon?!?
-WHY. IS. EVERYONE. SO. PRETTY??!?!

in this time, I got lost. hah.
I eventually found my way back to a street or something though :D and then made my way to rockafeller to see the tree, and let me tell you, it was gorgeous.
I had such a great day ! but no pictures drawn this time cause im lazy... maybe i'll post some that I took (which would only be like two because the camera ran out of battery :D)

Horrible Weekend?!

Yeah. It's pretty much been one of the worst weekends ever. pleh. So out of boredom, I realized I haven't posted in a few weeks or so (ok. maybe someone else pointed that out to me. but even so, I'm posting now aren't I? or maybe i'm not O___O maybe you're just crazy!! chances are, you're not though). Sadly enough, not enough has occured in the last few days that I can/want to write about, so this is just going to be one of those lazy posts full of half butted pictures that I drew like uhmmm 3 minutes ago? nah, its maybe been ten minutes. Enough of that, on with the show!~

Fail-quatics

I've gotta say, this isn't my first post about this class XD

So being the ever so lovable spazz-o-tron I am, I got yelled at sooooo much in aquatics last time because.... T___T i can't swim right wuahhhhhhhhh.
At the end he's calling all these names who has to be in the group where they just teach you how to swim and he hadn't listed my name so I was super happy! except afterwards, he was like "oh and marta" O___O what kind of suspense is that?!? the bad kind, I'll tell you!!

and for the record, I can swim, i just... can't do it right .____.

Today in aquatics we didn't really swim or anything so my hair and makeup was kept beeeeeyoooootiful!

A few hours prior, however, we had DUN DUN DUNNNNN World Themes! and in said class, we just sat down and wrote a whole big paper on how this (surprisingly entertaining) movie was a HORRRRRIBLLEEEE source to learn about historic Japan or whatever. it was stupid x___X i just finished in time hahaha. this is a boring post because today was a boring day D: but ill probably have something more interesting to share... tomorrah! :D

My Dictionary..... (~*o*)~

This is for Max, my super cool-bean kinda crazy cat "good looking" XD german friend hahaha. I alluded you home slice!

So, there are a few words that ever so often-ly slip out of my mouth, and those who don't speak marta may not understand them. therefore, i have created a little dictionary, so said people can understand me just a wee bit more :D

1. Keeyoot-Patoot (Adjective)- Often heard from Fiona and Jobo as well: Cute; Adorable; Example: Oh, marta is such a keeyooootie!!!

2. Mangaged (see: Destiny's Wall =D)

       -When two men are to be married

- When two men are chatting (Mangaged in conversation)

-When two men are fighting (Mangaged in battle)

3. Pooter (noun): Computer; La Computadora!

4. Chicken butt (noun): An icebreaker, a phrase to fill in awkward silences

crazy shady lady babies :D??

I did so much this weekend it's not even funny... so I'll just make it a list!! :D
1. The day after thanksgiving (friday) I went over to lissy's and we played DYNASTY WARRIORS and SAMURAI WARRIORS (which, people from the cornsters class, we did get to kill the tokugawa guy we've been studying hahahaha) for like 7 hours straight!

video game rage? I know of no such thing....

2. I had to go home to have another thanksgiving dinner of leftovers with my sister and her boyfriend. ironically enough, while driving a short distance to pick him up, she got lost and ended up about 2 hours away. we didnt have dinner together hah.

3. I went back to alyssas.

4. We played a super kick-butt game of MARIO PARTY for 6 hours (litterally). afterwards, my brain was like frieeeeeeeeeed

5. I slept until like 10:56 in the morning :D

6. I woke up (still at Alyssa's)

7. We went shopping in Katona, and we bought a BUNCH of incense!! i got rose and strawberry :3

8. While in katona, we got lunch at this diner place. it was TASTY!

9. We then went and saw Tangled, while Sue and Elsa saw Morning glory (tangled was actually REALLY good, i highly suggest it!!)

10. we ran into ALAN!!! O: and his sibling (or little friend... but i assume twas his sibling)

11. we went to this pub for dinner and i had a grilled cheese!!!

and there was this guy sitting at the table behind Lissy and Elsa, who looked perpetually confused, so I wrote on a napkin to Sue "The guy behind Lissy and Elsa looks perpetually confused XDDD" and she agreed, and then Else took the napkin and read it out loud and he heard and it was soooo funny :D

12. We went home and ate some desserts!!

13. I videotaped myself playing an escape game called Being One (its really fun, yall should do it!) and i will attempt to embed it in this post :

Just Like Everyone Else...

but UN like everyone else, I have a completely legitamate reason for not posting for about a week? That reason is THERE'S NO INTERNET IN LAKE GEORGE, and I've just been lazy for the past week.... so..... its half ly ok. In other news, before I make an actual blog post, I downloaded some crazy cool keyboards on my computer, but my favorite are chinese! 我是美国人!我叫 兰每花。。。 anddddd japanese!!! かわいいでしょ？私わかれが好きだ！！！well arent those spiffy? yes marta, yes they are. onto the post!!

I feel like this year has been like some big concert or event (crowds of people spilling bozze on eachother, mosh pits, flashing lights, and what i'm really getting at- chaos).

This weekend, however, was the after-party. Thrust into the seclusion of good ol' lake george, my days were not as wild as the main event, but still more than mildly entertaining. We saw my sister for the day, which was kindof nice.... kindof........ Harry Potter 7 was amazing- go watch it NOW! But not in 3D because its not that impressive... and not worth the trip. 2D is good though. My mom and sister cried when dobby died (spoiler alert? psshhhyeah), but ofcourse, I didn't.

Despite the great weekend, I was then engulfed by a 2 1/2 day school week (2 3/4 if i have to be exact). Do i smell an after-after-party? One where everyone is too hungover to speak without spewing in the tree-pot, and people are only lingering around for the gourmet food that no one can really afford on a regular basis? yes. yes i do. This was the longest week of my life. Even though three of my classes are being consumed by horrible movies (the last samurai in world themes, which is supposed to teach us something, but I'm not entirely sure what. Lorenzo's oil in biology, which is just a "fun activity" because my teacher doesn't feel like beginning a new section yet, and A world without thieves in chinese, which does not make ANY sense what soever. really, if you've seen it, and understand it, i will make you a personal shrine).

Well, I feel I have to apologize for the laziness in my drawings today. there could have been more, and they could have been neater, but I'm too tired. I truely hope everyone had a wonderful thanksgiving, as I spent it with my cousins (who arent really my cousins), and my family. Tomorrow, I'll be going to my family (who's not really my family)'s house and such. Happy Thanksgiving, yo!

I'm as Bored as a Midget in a Theme-Park

Nothing nearly significant enough to write a blog post about happened today.
Oh, hey, except maybe my aquatics teacher FLIPPING A SHIT during class today! Here, this is what happened.......

It all started with attendance... oh the attendance. (it just strikes me, why does attendance have dance in it? I think when they call on us, we should have to dance to stress and freely express the fact that we are present)

After attendance, (what was wrong with it? nobody was dancing, that's what!) Bonnie, Nicole and I were sitting on the bleachers talking about how super awesome it would be to have super spidey powers, when we noticed......... A strange white machine in the corner of the room!

After noticing this strange machine, sitting at one end of the pool, many queries entered my head, but I was sure of two things-  It was huge, and I wanted to play with it.

I didn't ofcourse, but we brainstormed what it could be... My theory being that if you had short arms (like me) and couldnt swim well, presumably because of that (like me), then it stretched your arms into new limbs that resembled fins so you could swim at super speed!

Being so curious, We asked the teacher what is. Needless to say, My theory was wrong.... .____.

On a more optimistic note.... Things I like :D

1. Twizzlers (can you believe it comes before cats?!?!?)

3. Tacos and Bruchetta. I molded them together, because they're equally as awesome.

You're Doing it Wrong

This is me being a fail with the paint on my computer :D anyone want to teach me how to draw on one of these thangs? or just in general...... heh... heheh...... T______T

So besides being a dorkball today, I went to the movies last night with two of my bestest buddies and we saw Paranormal Activity 2 (which is really like the prequel to the first, but you need to watch the first or you won't really get it...). Surprisingly, it was pretty good. To summarize my feelings for the first one, it was kindof like "WAAAAAH IMA HAVE NIGHTMARES AFTER THIS YO!" while you were watching it, but once you got out, it was kindof like "that was really stupid.....". The second movie, however, was not as eventful and did not have as many sever "paranormal activities" occuring, which made for a MUCH better climax at the end of the movie. The only downsides to it were that not as much happened, and it was a little long, but I have to say it was about 37 times better than the first movie :D

In other news, aka the scandals of chinese class, the kid who always looks high usually only blinks about two times in the entire class, but this time, he blinked almost three times!

Before I start rambling about more stuff nobody really cares about, I'll stop myself here.

Things That Really Annoy Me ?

1. People who think the fact that I put ketchup on Pizza is gross.... Dude, it's just more tomato sauce!
2. When people sing really annoyingly catchy songs that get stuck in my head all day!
3. My chronic procrastination...

5. People who call themselves a vegetarian but make exceptions for chinese food or bacon.

6. Cats..................... no just kidding, I love cats!

btw, thanks julie for showing the crayon setting- I had no idea it existed and had loads o' fun experimenting with it. Maybe next time I'll use..... spray paint?

Tacos, Kittens, and........

Today may or may not have been the best day in the world!
Reasons why it may??? I encountered all of my three most favorite things in the world (Tacos, Kittens, and Twizzlers WINK WINK WINK)
Gosh I love tacos........

But it was bad because...... it was a bland day o___O very eventful though, strangely.

1. I took a violin lesson- it was soooo awkward!
2. Fail-quatics for the first time... GROSS! I didn't have my bathing suit though <___< hehe >____>
3. Glee was on!! (I'm a huge gleek... it was amazing!!!)
4. Ate like seven things of Pez during chinese today cause we had that amazing sub who I forget his name but he has a facebook fan page soooo he is pretty awesome buahaha. but now I have no pez.......

That's pretty much it....... It was a pretty boring today, And I got wayyyy too excited for dem tacos [[:

A friend of mine took this picture on a dumpster in Chandler. There are several feelings generated within me when reading this:

It boggles my mind that someone would actually throw away their baby. But I understand there are mind boggling people out there in this world.

How many babies have been thrown away in this dumpster that it needs a sign in the first place?

How many people go to throw away a baby, read the sign, then decided that it is a bad idea?

Where do you buy a sign like that? I would like one for my garbage can at home!

When you drop off your baby at hope floats, do they have you fill out a survey to find out where you heard of the program?

Please people... If you are reading this. Don't throw away your babies!
